Christian Kummert

Christian joined the firm in 2014 as a Managing Director at Rubicon Capital Advisors ("Rubicon") and is based in the Dublin office. He has over 25 years of experience in infrastructure finance, with responsibility for leading large teams covering multiple sectors and jurisdictions in some of Europe's most active project finance lending institutions. He specializes in all areas of debt advisory, debt procurement and debt refinancing.

Prior to joining Rubicon, Christian worked as Head of the Energy and Infrastructure Division of HSH-Nordbank in Hamburg, Head of the Financing Division of Kommunalkredit Austria in Vienna, Global Head of the Infrastructure/PPP Division of Commerzbank in Frankfurt and Managing Director in the Infrastructure Finance Unit of Depfa Bank in Dublin. Prior to this he was working with ABB Structured Finance, the German Association of Electricity Utilities (VDEW) and the engineering consultant Lahmeyer International.

Christian is a native German speaker and fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
