Rubicon Capital Advisors today (21 May 2019) continued its growth strategy by opening a new office in Seoul rolling out the expansion of its global Investor Coverage Group.
The South Korean office will be run by newly-recruited managing director Christian Jung who will drive Rubicon’s agenda to deepen its local expertise in a strategically-important region.
Jung has more than 20 years’ experience across a number of roles in global financial markets and has worked closely with Korean financial institutions and investors over the past few years. He has formerly held roles with DB Life Insurance and KB Securities.
He will play a leading role in Rubicon’s Investor Coverage Group alongside fellow MDs Maria Kang in New York and Felix Fletcher in London. It will be headed by managing director and partner Aeneas Griffin in Dublin.
The group will focus on the investment needs and objectives of strategic fund, and institutional investors.
Griffin said: “The objective of the Investor Coverage Group is to enhance the comprehensive service offering we provide to our equity and debt investor client base.
“Assembling this specialist investor-focused team, with diverse transaction and market knowledge, will ensure that Rubicon is well-positioned to not only understand, but also anticipate investor appetite and priorities globally.”
The news follows hires by Rubicon for the New York and London offices at the beginning of March, reported by IJGlobal. In October last year, the company opened a LatAm office in Bogota.
