Rubicon Capital Advisors (“Rubicon”), a leading independent investment bank, today announced that Jasper Kienhuis has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Based in New York, he will focus on developing the firm’s relationships and providing advisory expertise in mergers & acquisitions, divestments, financings and capital raisings across the broader North American infrastructure and energy sectors.
Jasper joins from John Laing where he was most recently responsible for covering opportunities in the mid-market infrastructure sector in North America and prior to that he led the group’s divestment activities. Before joining John Laing, Jasper held various roles in investment banking at UBS and DC Advisory, based in both London and New York. He brings more than 20 years of experience advising corporates, sponsors and financial investors on a broad range of transactions in the power, utilities & infrastructure space. During his career, he has advised on over US$100 billion of announced M&A transactions.

Jasper holds an MA in Econometrics from Tilburg University and an MA in Finance from the CentER Graduate School for Economics and Business.
